What can you say, the Carolina No Time Series at Galot Motorsports Park did not disappoint. We had a great night of testing on Friday night. Several competitors made some phenomenal runs to show their muscle.
Saturday brought many more entries arriving at Galot. The cooler weather was a very nice surprise for all that attended. The 1st round started promptly and slowly the show began to wind it’s way down to the finals completing the event right at curfew. Unfortunately we had several on track incidents in the later rounds that delayed the racing. I am happy to report that both drivers are fine and the race cars are repairable. Hats off to the entire track staff for hustling through two lengthy clean ups so the race could be fully complete be for the curfew.
Congratulations to all of the winners!!!!
I’m very happy to report that after a few brief conversations last night it looks like I will be following the #CarolinaNoTimeSeries to all events in 2020!!!!! I believe this will benefit the series and #NCProModer. It will give me more of an opportunity to #MakeDragRacingGreater, and showcase the fantastic close racing in the heads up No Time classes of the Carolina No Time Series.
I’m thrilled with the Live Feeds we were able to provide over the weekend!!!! On another note I still have a lot of work to do as a Photographer, only hitting a single on one of of the shots of the race. Jimmy Boyd put on quite a show for all to see.
Don’t forget its #BIGDOG week as we approach the season finale at Piedmont Dragway on Thursday night. Gates open at @3pm for spectators with qualifying session #1 starting at 5:30 pm. Make arrangements to attend on of the PREMIER week night events in the world!!!!
Thanks again to Eric Bennett and the Eric Bennett Motorsports for coming on as a coverage partner for the event. I will have several more opening in the next few weeks for some No Time events. I will tell you the cost is much less than you think, ask Eric!!!!
